About Dension Audio Systems

Dension Audio Systems was established in Budapest for designing and manufacturing HD-MP3 players for car use. In that product field we have introduced a 3.5� HDD player and later a Car Radio incorporating a 2.5� HDD player. In order to use our HDD players in the car environment we have parallely developed a wide range of interface devices that simulates the CD changer of the car.

History
2001-Q2	Dension Ltd. was founded in 2001 by the Lukács brothers to fulfill the dream:
2001-Q4	HDD based standalone MP3 players (DMP3A series) for car use
2003-Q1	Car tuners incorporating removable HDD MP3 player (DH100 & DMP3C)
2003-Q4	Strategy Changed; Due to the increasing success of Apple iPod we decided to utilize our car-side knowledge to create iPod interfaces for cars. The car audio integrating experience was combining with the iPod craze (ice-link V1 and later ice-link Plus) At the moment our ice>Link Plus product is compatible with many of the car makes like BMW, VW, Audi, Fiat, Seat, Skoda, Honda, Renault, etc. and the numbers increase continuously (please check the compatibility list under the PRODUCT menu.)
2005-Q4	OEM developments including USB player integrations.
2006-Q1	Our newest developments include USB and fiber optic integrations for aftermarket use. These are designed for the latest model automobiles featuring an optical ring (MOST or D2B), e.g. AUDI, BMW Mercedes, Porsche, Saab, Volvo.
